Kaanapali Beach - Maui
Kaanapali Beach is known for its four miles of picture-perfect
scenic beauty and beautiful sunsets. This stretch of pristine,
white sand is the kind of beach you dream of going to with
its crystal clear blue waters. The beach is rarely crowded
to the point that you cannot find a spot to claim for your
own since there is so much space here. There are wonderful
snorkeling opportunities at Black Rock and it is not unusual
to get to see a sea turtle here. |
|
Poipu Beach Park - Kauai
Poipu Beach Park has much to offer you; from sunbathing
and swimming to snorkeling and boogie-boarding. The mile-long
beach has four small coves and despite the hotels and restaurants
along its edge here and there, it is secluded enough to be
peaceful. Snorkeling is the ideal thing to do here, but shell
hunting, beach combing, and possibly seeing the rare Hawaiian
monk seals sunbathing are a few of the things you can enjoy
here.

Hapuna Beach State Recreation Area - Big Island
This is a nice quiet beach with clear blue waters and
a sparkling white sandy bottom. Surrounded by palm trees,
there is plenty of shade for you to relax under and enjoy
the magnificent view of the ocean and beautiful rocky cliffs.
During the summer the beach, which is half a mile long, can
be 200 feet wide. If you like surfing, this is also an excellent
place to enjoy it. Other activities here would be swimming,
snorkeling, boogie boarding, and camping.

Hulopoe - Lanai
Beautiful golden sand, a relatively steep shoreline,
and 70 degree waters makes this the ideal swimming spot for
beach goers. Home to a marine safe house close by, you will

clear waters here make it a first-class snorkeling spot.

|
Lanikai Beach - Oahu
Lanikai, meaning 'heavenly waters' is exactly that with
its crystal waters and beautiful scenery. This is most often
mentioned to be the favorite of the local residents with its
golden sands, aquamarine waters, and secluded-ness. A little
difficult to find if you do not know the way so be sure to
have good directions.

|
Punalu'u Beach Park - Big Island
Also known as Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, this is one
of the most picturesque beaches on the Big Island. With the
unusual black color of the sand and coconut trees swaying
in the breeze, it is an excellent place for rest and relaxation.
Home to the green sea turtles, whether you are relaxing, swimming,
or snorkeling, you will most likely see them basking in the
sun, eating green algae off of the lava rocks, swimming along
and coming up for air, or see them sleeping at the bottom
of the ocean.

Hanalei Bay Beach Park - Kauai
Hanalei Bay Beach Park is one of the most beautiful
beaches in Hawaii with its perfectly crescent-shaped white

here that includes surfing, wind surfing, boating, kayaking,
fishing, swimming, and more.

white sand and unforgettable scenery. Favorable surfing and
wind surfing conditions here year-round makes it first-rate
for visitors and local residents alike and it is home to the
world-wide windsurfing competitions. A short coral reef helps
make the waters calm enough for excellent swimming in the
mornings and the coconut trees here provide shade and relaxation.

Honaunau Bay - The Big Island
Here, the pristine white sandy beach and blue waters
paradise is not the only attraction to visitors; it is also
the underwater utopia. Scuba divers from all around the world
are lured here to this Place of Refuge created when lava from
the Kilauea volcano hardened into large formations in the
ocean, now home to a spectacular coral reef. You will see
here a large number of native tropical fish, of which about
40% can be found only in this bay area.
